Christmas Nevermore Wins 3 Gold Medals at Literary Classics Book Awards.
Best Illustrator, Best Holiday Book and Best Environmental Issues Book.

Literary Classics announced its 2015 selection of top books for children and young adults today.  Award recipients were selected from entries received from around the globe. 

The 2015 Literary Classics book award recipients will be recognized during an awards presentation to be held on April 2, 2016 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.  A complete list, including links to Literary Classics' reviews of all award winning books, may be found at clcawards.org.

Literary Classics, an organization dedicated to furthering excellence in literature, takes great pride in its role to help promote classic literature which appeals to youth, while educating and encouraging positive values in the impressionable young minds of future generations.  Judging is based upon the criteria set forth by Literary Classics’ highly selective awards committee which honors books promoting character, vision, creativity and learning, through content which possesses key elements found in well-crafted literature.

Literary Classics is pleased to announce its 2015 selection of finalists for the best in children’s and young adult literature. The list includes titles received by entrants from around the globe. THE WISHING SHELF BOOK AWARDS 2014 WINNERS
The children’s books were read and judged by children in 8 UK primary and secondary schools, the adults books by 2 Reading Groups, 1 in London and 1 in Stockholm. The books were marked according to EDITING, THEME, STYLE, COVER and, in the case of many of the children’s books, ILLUSTRATIONS.

2014 Moonbeam Children's Book Awards Results


“Celebrating Youthful Curiosity, Discovery and Learning through Books and Learning”
Jenkins Group is proud to announce the winners of the 2014 Moonbeam Children's Book Awards. Launched in 2007, the awards are intended to bring increased recognition to exemplary children’s books and their creators, and to celebrate children’s books and life-long reading. Congratulations to all the winners!
This year's Moonbeam Awards medal ceremony will be held in conjunction with the 5th annual Traverse City Children’s Book Festival, on Saturday, November 8, 2014.
Listed below are the Moonbeam Spirit Award winners, followed by the seventh annual 2014 Moonbeam Awards results, listed by category, and Ebook category winners.
Creating books that inspire our children to read, to learn, and to dream is an extremely important task, and these awards were conceived to reward those efforts. Each year's entries are judged by expert panels of youth educators, librarians, booksellers, and book reviewers of all ages. Award recipients receive gold, silver and bronze medals and stickers depicting a mother and child reading and silhouetted by a full moon.

AMERICAN BOOK FEST ANNOUNCES
WINNERS AND FINALISTS OF THE 2014 INTERNATIONAL BOOK AWARDS
Mainstream & Independent Titles Score Top Honors


LOS ANGELES – American Book Fest announced the winners and finalists of THE 2014 INTERNATIONAL BOOK AWARDS (IBA) on May 21, 2014. Over 300 winners and finalists were announced in over 80 categories. Awards were presented for titles published in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Jeffrey Keen, President and CEO of American Book Fest, said this year’s contest yielded over 1200 entries from authors and publishers around the world, which were then narrowed down to the final results.
